PTA/SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The UPE Parent/Teacher Association is an integral part of the school.

Parents assist in setting a direction for our school, provide school-wide and individual classroom support and periodically sponsor activities at the school.

The PTA meetings are a time for parents and teachers to come together and discuss the school’s successes and opportunities. We encourage every parent to become a part of the PTA and the activities.

The School Advisory Council assists with the development of the school improvement plan and monitors progress in achieving our goals.

Parents are encouraged to get involved by serving on the Council. This group meets once a month and is kept up to date on OCPS happenings.

Information on how to join this group will go home during the first month of school.
