PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Physical education is a required part of the instructional program in Florida public schools; therefore, all children are expected to participate.

Students need to wear tennis shoes to prevent accidental injury that can occur if proper footwear is not worn for PE.

Those under a doctor’s care who present a written statement of their condition are temporarily excused from participation in physical education.
